After several successful training sessions in northern Sweden, it was time for TikiTaka’s development manager Tony Gustavsson to travel south to visit the west coast and Tvååkers IF.

TikiTaka’s successful concept 90 + 90 was on the schedule and the training was part of the club’s kick off for youth coaches. 22 coaches participated, ranging from senior down to junior coaches, and all were inspired by the TikiTaka method’s theories during the first 90 minutes. When it was time for the practice session, the coaches put on their football shoes and took part in Tony’s exercises on the mat. The weather gods were in a good mood, the plane field was in a good condition, and the overall conditions at Övrevi IP were perfect for the TikiTaka method’s practical exercises.

”Wow!”, ”Inspiring!”, ”Are there more courses?” and ”When is the next time?” were some of the comments from participants and us at TikiTaka are pleased that to our training methods are appreciated by the clubs.

TikiTakas ambassador in Halland, Daniel Pohjantähti was, of course, also in place at Tvååker and was pleased with the weekend:

“I really think that 90 + 90 is a good thing for the clubs. Not only for what it is, but just as much for the inspiration and innovation that it provides to coaches of all ages. It is a pity that you are not young today and had been informed of this training method”, says Daniel.

Talks between TikiTaka and Tvååker about continued courses in the TikiTaka method have already been picked up, and we of course look forward to a continued collaboration with the club. After the training, several coaches chose to test the Sidelines XPS Network for free for 30 days, and we naturally believe that it is great that we have so many curious coaches around the country that are open to both TikiTakas training methodology and our products.
